The workings of county government are not a passing fancy for me, as I have studied county government for many years. In fact, my doctoral dissertation was entitled County Distribution of Municipality-Oriented Services. I also pay particular attention to county government when I teach my public administration and local government courses at Canisius College. I am of the belief that the problems facing county government today are many and varied, but they are by no means unique. As such, we can gain insights from the past experiences of our own county and those of counties around the country. My training, experience and passion for good government will enable me to make the most of these lessons as your county legislator.
